This news is particularly helpful for investors (looking to flip a property) who previously had to buy and hold a place for 90 days until a buyer could purchase the property using an FHA loan.

This makes flipping a property slightly more appealing, even in this market, as this change in FHA policy has expanded the pool of potential buyers.

Here’s proof to what most of us already know; it is expensive to live in this area!

“The Stamford-Norwalk area is the most expensive rental housing market in the nation, requiring a $72,000 household income to afford a typical monthly rent of $1,800, according to study released Wednesday.”

This article (from the CT Mirror) is about 9 months old, however not much has changed with the housing market in 9 months, and rental rates have held steady during that time.  Check out the full article here:
