Hurricane Irene passed over Norwalk this past weekend, and she certainly made her presence known.

Many of Norwalk’s low-lying areas saw flood damage.  Most of this damage occured in South and East Norwalk.

Below are some pictures taken on Sunday morning in Norwalk of the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.  Areas pictured include the intersection of Seaview & East Ave, Veterans Park, River Dr, SoNo Seaport Seafood, Water St, and the intersection of South Main & Meadow St.
